PREMIER MK 1 RODS

Premier bait and tackle have their own range of rods, built on century blanks made as standard or custom built and come in both 12 foot or 13 foot models.

*The 12 foot range consists of..................*	2¼ lb 2¾ lb 3lb 3¼ lb test curves.
*The 13 foot model is..................................*	3½ lb

All models are fitted with fugi rings and reel seats. The butt section incorperates a shrink tube type grip.

Test period was over a full year, and the fact is I was so impressed with these rods that I bought three!
Their fish playing action is fantastic, but what I was amazed with was their casting ability.I did a measured cast of 147 yards.

My set-up was a "Daiwa emblem 5500T" reel filled with 10lb "Daiwa Sensor" main line.
Attached to this was -

a shock-leader of 20lb Amnesia,

a 3 ounce zip lead

15lb Octosplice hook length of approx 8 inches

A Kamazan B175 size 6 hook

complete with an 18mm boilie.

The cast was made with a moderate south westerly wind hitting me side on!

The rods are a lovely mid grey colour, just look at the closeness of the weave and you can tell these are a quality rod which are competitively priced.
The 12ft models start at Ł125.00 and the 13ft model is Ł145.00.
Believe me when I say "you are getting a lot of rod for your money", and as I fish for at least 48 hours every week throughout the year and mostly at range, these rods were seriously put through their paces and stood the test with honours.

I would prescribe these rods to any carp angler looking to upgrade his or her rods, or to a novice coming into the sport.
