This is just the tip of the ice berg, there are so many manufacturers to list including, "ABU, GARDENER, KORDA, and ULTIMA", to name but a few. The line I am currently using is the ultra thin "SUFIX HERCULINE" This line casts beautifully and as you can see from the table abive, is up to 0.08mm thinner than the rest. I must add that most lines vary in thickness & breaking strains than as stated. The ones listed are as stated on the packaging by the manufacturers as a guide only. One line sticks out from all the rest, and has definately stood the test of time. That is the "DAIWA SENSOR", and I keep a spool for emergences and at approximately £6.00 a spool is well worth it. I recently purchased a couple of spools of the new line by Berkely called "IRON-SILK", and have yet to test it. Look out for my review on this line TIGHT LINES CAMO | ||
