With the launch in 2001 of Free Spirits Searcher Marker Rod and the recent launch of their long range marker rod,
It has taken feature finding to a new dimension.
The searcher marker rod was the first purpose built rod for feature finding, incorporating intermediate depth marks every six inches from the reel up to 2ft. The rods come in two test curves, 2¾lb and 3¼lb both in 12ft, with a ringing pattern as follows :
40mm butt ring 30 - 25 - 20 - 16mm plus a 16mm tip ring.
S-Lites rings a Fuji DNPSM20 Reel fitting with stainless fittings all combine to make this a must have rod.
