BARROWS
It seems that every few months now a new barrow comes on to the market, however the ones that have stood the test of time is the "Prestige Carp Porter" followed by the "Chub Barrow" and more recently Fox,Nash and JRC have launched theirs.
So lets take a look!

PRESTIGE CARP PORTER

Firstly I cannot praise this company enough, These barrows have lead the way from the start and are improving all the time.
There are about 8 variations on the market from the original MK1 to the Power Porter and due to their design are easy to adapt yourself.
Here you can see the original MK2 and (below) my own model fully loaded (note the bedchair at full length).
Doing this you will get all your tackle to the swim in one go.

CHUB BARROW

This has got to be the strongest barrow on the market. There is a 1 and 3 wheel version, lots of accessories i.e. barrow tidy, barrow organiser bags and their infinately adjustable strap (brilliant idea).
The only fault is that it is too short for me!
I have to make two trips, the bedchair cannot lay flat for an even load.

FOX BARROW
Fox Barrow A two wheeled copy of the Chub barrow but not as strong.

NASH BARROW

Another two wheeled copy, nice design but still not strong enough.

JRC BARROW
JRC Barrow Yet another two wheeled copy. Has a nice finish but still not strong enough.Tends to twist while steering around bends.

FORDWICH BARROW
This is a home made barrow seen alot around Kent.
A couple of ventures were started but the market was not ready.
It is an 'L' shape design with two wheels, a rigid frame with mesh paneling.
Easy to push, requires a stabilising bar for ease of loading.
If this was marketed now I am sure it would take the market by storm!.
